  • Apple Butter Pork Loin
  • Description
    • Fall: Where apple trees are packed full of goodness!  Tonight I'm sharing with you a recipe that combines apple juice and apple butter and pork, which go well together; and a recipe for homemade apple butter!
  • Ingredients (Pork)
    • 1 (1 pound) pork tenderloin
    • Seasoning salt to taste
    • 1 cup apple juice
    • 1/2 cup apple butter
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Directions (Pork)
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Season the pork tenderloin with seasoning salt, and place it in a 9x13 inch baking dish or small roasting pan. Pour apple juice over the pork, and cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.  Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. While the pork is roasting, mix together the apple butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves. After the hour, remove pork loin from the oven, and spread the apple butter mixture over it.  Cover, and return to the oven for 2 hours, or until fork tender
  • Easy Homemade Apple Butter
  • Ingredients (Apple Butter)
    • 4 qts. unsweetened applesauce
    • 7 cups granulated sugar
    • 1-1/3 cups brown sugar
    • 5-1/3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
    • 5-1/3 Tablespoons lemon juice
    • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
    • 2 teaspoons allspice
    • 1 teaspoons ground cloves
  • Directions (Apple Butter)
    • Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Cover and cook 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes approximately 8-10 pints.
