This is without a doubt the best LHS episode! Finally you folks have seen the light and did a series on the superior Operating System BSD. I have really enjoyed using TrueOS in my ham shack. TrueOS has met all of my expectations especially with is superior file system OpenZFS. The main feature I enjoy about TrueOS is upgrades are safe and simple with the advent of boot environments. I’m really looking forward to this series. Anyway you may want to mention Adrian Chadd’s KK6VQK latest article on setting up APRS on FreeBSD https://adrianchadd.blogspot.co.uk/2017/10/freebsd-and-aprs-or-hm-what-happens.html?m=1 which I found on BSDNow episode 224. As desktop Operating Systems go I find TrueOS a pleasure using it Luminia desktop it’s simple no nonsense interface makes it very practical. When you are trying to make contacts the last thing you want to be doing is fighting with your OS. Anyway I can’t wait for the next in this series. 73 N4JEK a BSD Ham
