It's time once again for The Weekender. This is our departure into the world of hedonism, random topic excursions, whimsy and (hopefully) knowledge. Thanks for listening and, if you happen to get a chance, feel free to call us or e-mail and send us some feedback. Tell us how we're doing. We'd love to hear from you.

Dust off those 1970's cookbooks, because this quick bread has made a comeback on TikTok! You can use ANY flavor of ice cream (just make sure it's not low-fat or sugar free). Obviously vanilla is just going to a neutral sweeter bread, whereas if you use something like Butter Pecan, Lemon, Cherry, Strawberry, etc you'll have more zip to it! Feel free to add some spices (cinnamon, zests, etc) to even further enhance your bread!
Ingredients
2 cups Ice Cream
1 1/2 cups SELF RISING flour
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees (F) (175 C). Grease and flour (or line with parchment) a loaf pan. Mix ice cream and flour in bowl just until flour disappears. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan and use a rubber spatula to spread out evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
