  • Thanks for the mention of the qso mapper project! It was quite by accident that I heard the mention on your podcast as I had just been surfing for a ham radio podcast to add to my routine. I happened across yours, and gave episode 251 a test-listen. I guess fate is telling me to subscribe. N1SH.

It promises to deliver an experience that’ll match or beat the aesthetics of MacOS and Windows operating systems. Feren OS is a rolling release Linux distribution. The look and feel is familiar: There are a Windows-like start button and taskbar that have all the useful icons. The start menu is intuitively designed, as clicking on an option opens a submenu. The Theme Changer tool lets you play with icons, setup, background, etc. Feren OS, apart from being a beautiful Linux distribution and fully loaded with eye candy, is familiar and innovative. Also, it has a familiar desktop scheme, clean, flat design, modern environment and is beginner friendly.

  • Notes
    • Notes:  In Montana, we have a pastime bar game called shake-a-day. Each day at your favorite watering hole, you get one opportunity to throw fifty cents into a pot with hopes of rolling five of a kind and winning a pocket full of cash! This favorable risk to reward is our inspiration for brewing this aggressive, american style ipa. Brewed with pacific nw and australian hop varieties, bright aromas and resinous pine dominate the palate. The clean, well-attenuated finish has enough body to leave you wanting another roll of the dice.
